Loes and Max have been together for years and enjoy going out together. To walk the dog "Tena Lady" and enjoy life as The Pensionados. Go to the market or the shopping center, or just sit on a bowl and watch other people. Max takes his accordion everywhere and likes to play a nice waltz or march song. Then Loes gets excited and dances with anyone who wants to. Young or old doesn't matter.

They also like to dress up.

When Volendam people do a clog dance or cheerfully march with marching band suits to welcome the guests to your party. As the Dickens Pensionados, they are especially active around the Christmas period. Always cordial, friendly and with a radiant smile. Because that's just how they are!
